We have been working away on the next album in the studio with most of the recording now complete. The first track to be mixed and mastered is live favourite "The Last Farewell of Mary". Rather than keep this hidden away until the full album is ready we thought we would left if free now.
The song was inspired by a trip to Scotland and the tragic story of the love affair between Highland Mary and Scottish poet Robbie Burns. They mat before the pert became famous but she tragically dies young after a sea crossing to Skye to meet him. classic powerpop territory! Rob put the lyrics to a tune Graham had been playing around with for some time and a new number was born.
We have made a little video to help promote the song which is doing quite well on youtube at the moment. Click the link ad marvel at our seamless miming skills and Robs coolness under pressure....
You can also stream it on all the usual outlets or even purchase a copy to keep from our bandcamp site.

The biggest favour you could do us though, is to add the song to one of your online playlists and share the hell out of it! Apparently the Spotify algorithm in particular promotes a song it it sees it on lots of playlists. We also hear that promoters and venues take into consideration a bands online presence when booking live gigs. If there's one thing we like more than making new music its playing live. so... if you haven't already followed us on Facebook, or subscribed to our youtube channel please do so. If you have, then we'd really appreciate you sharing our video or a link to the streaming sites, the more online followers we get the more gigs we get!
